Varsity Girls Basketball
South Shore Christian Academy's Varsity Girls Basketball team is made up of highly competitive athletes who are fueled by a powerful ethos of athletic and spiritual development. Here at SSCA, our basketball teams compete as an independent school without league affiliation. Our Varsity Girls Basketball team competes against other Christian schools within the South Shore area and nationwide.
Our basketball program is currently undergoing an incredible renaissance, with strong support from students, parents, teachers, and the school leadership.
Coach Devin Hill
Coach Hill was a coach at DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, FL, Cactus Shadows High School in Arizona, and an assistant coach at Queens College in New York City. His tenure includes winning a conference championship during the 2015-2016 season and leading a memorable run to the NCAA Elite Eight in the 2016-2017 season.
Most recently, he served as the head girls' prep basketball coach at Putnam Science Academy from 2019 to 2023, where he was instrumental in recruiting and developing over 20 players who went on to play Division 1 basketball and reached a peak national ranking of #22 by Insider Exposure.
