The Annual Fund at SSCA is a vital and important way for parents, grandparents, alumni, past parents, and friends to be involved in the life of the school. At SSCA, as is true at every independent school, the board sets tuition at a rate that balances the actual expenses of an excellent education with the desire to enable as many families on the South Shore as possible to take part in that education. If tuition covered 100 percent of the actual costs, it would prohibit all but the wealthiest families from matriculating. This is far from the mission of SSCA. Therefore, tuition is simply not enough to cover the entire actual cost of an SSCA education.

South Shore Christian Academy is dependent upon the generosity of its parents, alumni, and friends to enable as many students as possible to take part in an SSCA education, through financial aid. God’s generosity through our parents, alumni, and friends also helps us recruit and retain talented and devoted teachers, obtain the best classroom materials, research and implement innovative educational techniques, and more.

Everything we do at SSCA is educational. From the classroom to the chapel, from the stage to the athletic fields, we are engaged in shaping the whole student, to equip them to live out their life of faith in a way that brings goodness to the world.
