Mission & Purpose
South Shore Christian Academy exists to glorify Jesus Christ by revealing truth, imparting knowledge, stimulating spiritual growth, and developing Christian character in young men and women through a college preparatory curriculum taught by Christian teachers.

At SSCA, truth is the blueprint for a life lived according to God’s call. Knowledge is the set of tools needed to build that life. Spiritual growth is understanding how to use those tools for beautiful purposes. And Christian character is evidenced when we put those tools to use to build the life we are called to.
South Shore Christian Academy is an independent, non-denominational, co-ed day school educating students from Preschool through Grade 12. Every day, dedicated faculty and administrators work to prepare the students for college and life by integrating Christian faith, rigorous academics and core values – honesty, respect and a Christ-like attitude – to create a strong foundation for success.
Founded in 1994, SSCA aims to provide a liberal arts education with a distinctly Christian worldview. Our students are taught to maintain a high level of intellectual and spiritual integrity, equipping them to actively engage and apply God's truth in the world around them.
SSCA is a diverse community serving more than 248 students from different racial, economic, and Christian backgrounds. Currently our students represent more than 95 churches from more than 40 towns in the greater Boston area.
Purpose:
SSCA is a caring, academically challenging Christ-centered learning community that teaches the knowledge, skills, values and behaviors necessary to help students become successful, responsible and productive adults in a culturally diverse society.
