Continuous Enrollment

Each year nearly 90% of SSCA families opt to return for the following year. Last year, we instituted a process of Continuous Enrollment that will help streamline the entire re-enrollment process.

With Continuous Enrollment, families sign one enrollment contract that will keep their students enrolled until graduation, or until they say otherwise, with no need to complete re-enrollment forms each February.  This “Opt-Out” process helps simplify re-enrollment cycle for our families and staff.

This year, all families that wish to return to SSCA for the 2019-2020 school year won’t have to do anything to make that happen!  Families wishing to withdraw (opt-out) from SSCA for the 2019-2020 school year will simply need to submit a written notice of withdrawal to the Admissions Office no later than February 1.  If your notice of withdrawal is received on, or before February 1, there is no fee associated with this withdrawal.

Continuous Enrollment Fees

Registration Fee: $150 per returning student, to be applied to the tuition bill on July 1 and paid as part of the tuition payment plan.  There is no fee due in February.

Late Withdrawal Fee: $250 per student for families that submit a notice of withdrawal after February 1.  If you submit your notice of withdrawal before February 1, there is no fee.  This fee will be charged up until July 1.  On July 1, all families are contractually responsible for the full 2019-2020 tuition of all students enrolled.

Re-Enrollment Fee: $250 per student, only if a family withdraws a student for the 2019-2020 school year and then decides to re-enroll later in the year.

What does this mean for my family?

If your student will be returning for the 2019-2020 school year, no need to do anything!  Your student will be automatically re-enrolled for the 2019-2020 school year, and your Registration Fee will automatically be applied to your tuition account on July 1.

If you know that your student will not be returning to SSCA for the 2019-2020 school year, please submit a written notice of withdrawal to the Admissions Office no later than February 1.  If your notice is received on, or before, February 1, there is no fee associated with this withdrawal.

If you are not sure if your student will be returning to SSCA, there are two options.  You can either withdraw before February 1 with no fee and potentially pay the $250 Re-Enrollment Fee later this year if you decide to return and space is available.  Or, you can keep your student enrolled and pay the Late Withdrawal Fee if you decide to eventually withdraw before July 1.

Financial Aid & Re-enrollment

Financial Aid applications must be submitted annually to be considered for need-based aid.  Applications will be due on February 1.  Tuition rates will be sent out each year in advance of the February 1 deadline.  For financial aid applications submitted by the deadline, each family will have two weeks from the date their award letter is sent to review their award and withdraw from SSCA without penalty if the aid given by SSCA is not sufficient to meet a family’s financial need. 

Re-enrollment Timeline:

February 1

1. Deadline for families to withdraw (opt out) for the following school year without penalty
2. $150 Enrollment fee will be automatically applied to the tuition bill for the following year
3. Families that opt out for the following year after February 1 will be responsible for a $250 late withdrawal fee
4. For families that opt out before February 1 but want to re-enroll after February 1 there is a $250 Re-Enrollment Fee for each student in addition to the $150 enrollment fee that will be applied to the following year’s tuition bill

July 1

1. FACTS payments begin and prepaid tuitions are due
2. Enrolled families are responsible for the full tuition of the upcoming year
