Also, you will not want to miss the presentation of our very first Micah 6:8 Award to a member of the greater Boston community. Join us in honoring the work of Ed Gaskin. Mr. Gaskin graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master's of Science in Management degree and graduated with honors as a Martin Trust Fellow, and came in second in the National Black MBA Association's national scholarship contest. Since graduating he has held senior positions with firms such as Dancing Deer Baking Company, Deloitte, IBM, and EMC. Ed is a speaker and author, and, as an adjunct professor, he has taught at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary for over twenty years a class called "Christianity and the Problem of Racism" with Professor Dean Borgman. He has had the opportunity to work for Mother Teresa in Calcutta, India as well as serve on mission fields in Kenya, Spain, Germany, France, Morocco, Kenya, and Honduras. We are thrilled to present Mr. Gaskin with the Micah 6:8 Award.
What is the We Believe Dinner?
Like most private schools, tuition alone cannot cover the cost of educating each student at SSCA. Our Annual Fund allows us to bridge this gap by providing the funds needed to improve current offerings and bring new opportunities and technologies to our classrooms. The We Believe Dinner launches our annual, five-week We Believe Campaign.
