Dr. Jamara received his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst MA. He received his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, Boston MA. Dr. Jamara is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists International. He is also semi-retired, serving on the faculty of New England College of Optometry as professor emeritus and as a consultant to the medical staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Braintree. Dr. Jamara worships with his wife Barbara S. Jamara at Grace Church in Avon, MA. They have three adult sons who graduated from SSCA in 2002, 2003, and 2005.
