Dear Prospective Candidate for Head of School,
Thank you for your interest in South Shore Christian Academy. We are a growing, independent, Christian college preparatory day school educating students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Founded in 1994, SSCA aims to provide a liberal arts education with a distinctly Christian worldview. Our students are taught to maintain a high level of intellectual and spiritual integrity, equipping them to actively engage and apply God's truth in the world around them. SSCA provides a rigorous, challenging and caring Christ-centered learning community. Our gifted, highly qualified faculty and our strong curriculum emphasize the spiritual formation of our students, as well as the full development of their cognitive, intellectual, and social gifts, skills and abilities. A recently completed survey of parents and faculty indicates a high level of satisfaction with the SSCA experience. Further, close to 98% of our graduating seniors move on to attend four year colleges.
With the planned retirement of our current Head of School, we are actively searching for a successor who can lead SSCA into the next phase of its growth and development. The SSCA community is fully engaged in this effort and is prayerfully seeking the next leader that God has already called to our school.
