What sports does SSCA offer?
SSCA has athletic opportunities for both the Lower School and Upper School.
Lower School students compete in the Christian Athletic Association (CAA) which provides inter-school competition for Christian schools.
Lower School students in grades 1 thru 6 can compete in fall soccer.
In the winter, students in grades 3 thru 6 can compete in basketball.
Upper School students, grades 7 thru 12, compete in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) in:
- Soccer, boys and girls
- Basketball, boys and girls
- Ice Hockey, boys
- Baseball
- Softball
- Cross country is available on a club level
SSCA has enjoyed an outstanding record of accomplishment in interscholastic play qualifying for post season MIAA Tournament play:
- 7 consecutive years in Boys Soccer,
- 5 consecutive years in Girls Soccer,
- 6 consecutive years in Girls Basketball
- 6 of the last 7 years in Boy's Basketball
Does SSCA have an Arts Program?
SSCA offers a fine arts program for lower school students that includes art, band, chorus, drama, and orchestra.

Are entrance exams required for admission to SSCA?
The application process includes a pre-admission screening for the pre-school.
Applicants must submit ISEE, SSAT, PSAT or SAT scores. Applicants may substitute test results from the Stanford or ERB tests.
Is Financial Aid available?
SSCA utilizes the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment program to process all tuition assistance applications. FACTS assist hundreds of independent schools, including SSCA in assessing the financial need of the families applying for tuition assistance.
Tuition assistance is not a scholarship or a student loan program. It is a program to assist students that could not otherwise attend SSCA without financial help. There are no mandatory personal requirements to receive assistance.
Tuition assistance is available for parents or guardians of kindergarten through 12 grade students. The student must have completed the application process for a new student in order to qualify.
What is not included in the tuition?
Expenses not included in the tuition are: registration fee, re-registration fee, uniforms, class trips, transportation, uniforms, class trips, extended day programs, athletic fees, school pictures, and lunch.
Is a lunch program provided?
A catered lunch is available. Order forms are sent home with each student. Students are welcome to bring lunch from home.
